Dharrit Shah, since 1998, is known for his business acumen, farsightedness and as an active investor in diverse industries globally.
His passion for knowledge and determination to turn ideas into action has contributed towards his unshakeable success that enabled his varied businesses to synergise with diverse turfs like Construction, Realty, Interior Design & Build, Furniture, Infrastructure, Transportation, Shipping & Logistics, Education, etc.
At an early age, having an ardent desire to learn how money works, he got involved in the family business. He imbibed his father’s teachings and experience and with his fervent entrepreneur spirit he envisioned to turn small trading business into a large organization.
To further his academic knowledge in international business, he pursued his MBA from the Edith Cowan University, Perth (Australia).
His vision and yearning to implement backward integration took form in the year 2001 and his brainchild ‘Sonata Design System’ was incorporated to offer consultation from site selection to complete design and build interior solutions for corporates.
Under his able leadership, the group has always unearthed inventive opportunities for vertical and horizontal integrated evolution.

A Plywood & Allied Products trading entity, catering to walk-in customers and wholesale, initially started by Mr. Yogen Shah (Dharrit’s father) in 1987 at Bhavani Peth in Pune. Dharrit actively played a part in learning the business and its trade secrets, starting at a young age of 15.
Golden Plywood
A Plywood & Allied Products trading company, founded by Dharrit Shah, after completing his studies from Edith Cowan University, Perth (Western Australia). This company focused on Super Stocking and Project Sales of plywood & diversified allied products.
Sonata Design System
Initially a contracting establishment catering to selective interior works for commercial spaces transformed into a full-fledged design and build company having national recognition. Sonata continually strived to serve the growing needs of the IT/ Corporate industries by bridging the gap between clients requirements and solutions provided.
Benchmark Management Services
Principally was formed as an STPI Business Unit, to globally offer design consultancy services in terms of Interior Fit-Out, Civil Structures and MEP. This company now invests in commercial properties and leases the same to IT, ITeS and corporates.

A construction company formed to offer build-to-suit spaces, commercial and residential projects, and special projects catering to the needs of the market.

CONNECTING DOTS is a Discovery Centre conducting specialised and Interactive classes for age group of 5 months to 1 year and 11 months. The program provides an opportunity to both parents and infants/ toddlers to experience together the joy of music and movement, creative expression, story literacy, science and sensory activities with professionally trained experts in early learning and child development. It also offers a place for toddler to play, learn and develop their pre-academic skills.
